Company profileMoorgreen Flexible Packaging Limited, established in 1996, currently operates from a 30,000 sq.ft manufacturing plant conveniently located in Alfreton, Derbyshire, only 2 miles from J28 of the M1 motorway which is ideal for nationwide distribution of our products. Our management, sales and production personnel have many years experience in the flexible packaging industry. In some cases as individuals and most certainly collectively as a team. This experience is often called upon when offering our customers advice or being innovative when required to find packaging solutions. Our polythene Extrusion Department produces film of many different sizes, thickness and colours, much of which is then printed up to six colours and converted into bags or sacks for industrial, commercial and retail use. In addition to products manufactured from prime material we are able to produce bags and sacks which can in some cases be manufactured from 100% recycled material generated from UK sourced packaging and process waste and recycled at our own accredited facility. In order to address the problem of polythene packaging that is likely to end up in land fill i.e. carrier bags, food wrapping, refuse and garden sacks, we have in partnership with an environmental technologies company, developed a biodegradeable range of packaging with proven results, which can be substantiated with the necessary test data if required. We believe that as a UK manufacturing company, we are better placed than other suppliers to deliver a product of consistently high quality, as well as being able to respond swiftly to customer requirements. |
